Industrial gases for wastewater treatment.

The application of CO2 and O2 in the wastewater treatment plant allows for a highly efficient and safe biological process

CO2 is used for pH control in mills where alkaline effluents replace strong acids. CO2 provides better control of the increase as well as the efficiency of the treatment plant allowing a higher BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) removal during the secondary treatment of the effluent.

The use of Oin aerobic biological treatment increases the capacity of the plant with low power consumption, mainly for high temperature effluents.
